Investigation underway after body found in downtown Nashville

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - An investigation is underway after a body was found in downtown Nashville on Wednesday afternoon.
The Metro Nashville Police Department reports that one body was found under Gay Street on the riverfront.
MNPD is awaiting the medical examiner’s office to determine the cause of death.
