Nashville businesses ‘Paint The Town Purple’ to raise awareness for Alzheimer’s
June is Alzheimer’s and brain health awareness month.
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - If you’ve been out and about in Nashville, you may have noticed a little extra purple.
The Alzheimer’s Association Tennessee Chapter is partnering with businesses all across Music City for their annual “Paint The Town Purple” campaign.
The state capitol changed its lighting. Frank Miller’s businesses are going purple too. He owns Sonny’s Patio Pub, Cerveza Jack’s and Coal Town Pizza.

Miller lost his mother to Alzheimer’s in December and he’s been working to raise awareness about the disease ever since.
“If there’s any way that I can help, even a little, to help others to have that information, I’d feel like I’m doing something good for a cause,” said Miller.
There will be purple drinks at all three of Miller’s restaurants and throughout the month of June, a dollar from every purchase will go to benefit the Alzheimer’s Association Tennessee Chapter.
