WSMV4 partners with M.A.D.D. for annual walk
The money raised will be used for victim services and awareness campaigns.
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - WSMV4 is partnering with the group “Mothers Against Drunk Driving” for its annual walk.
The goal is to put an end to inebriated driving.
The money raised will go towards things like awareness campaigns and victim services.
The walk will also provide an opportunity for survivors and victim’s families to be reminded of one simple message: they are not alone.
“It’s really just a neat day to raise some money, raise some public awareness, and for victims to have a chance to sit down and visit with each other because no one knows the loss of a loved one because of drunk driving more than someone who has been through it,” said Norris Skelley with M.A.D.D.
The “Walk like M.A.D.D.” event is happening on Saturday, June 29th at Cornelia Fort Airpark in Nashville.
It will be a family and dog-friendly event.
Registration starts at 9 a.m. and the program begins at 10 a.m.
