Columbia to host 5th annual Oktoberfest
The fun-filled event will benefit Maury County’s only homeless shelter.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) -If you’re looking for something fun to do, you might consider grabbing your lederhosen and heading to Maury County for their 5th annual Oktoberfest.
This year’s event is going to be bigger than ever.
There will be 20 different craft beers from Tennessee and Alabama.
There will be live music, food trucks, a wiener dog race and a beer stein holding contest.
It’s all for a great cause.
The proceeds will benefit Maury County’s only homeless shelter: The Room In The Inn.
“Eating and drinking and being with their friends in a beautiful Fall evening for a great cause in downtown Columbia, and to celebrate life, and to be together, and share time for a good cause to say, ‘we supported something. We were there,’” said Reverend Jeff Kane, the founder of The Room in the Inn of Columbia.
The event is Friday, October 4th from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. at Riverwalk Park in Columbia.
WSMV4 is the official media partner for the event.
